MDC Season 2025-2026
COMPANY Auditions

Motion Dance Center had the incredible privilege of welcoming former Dancing with the Stars troupe member and actress Stephanie Sosa for an unforgettable master class experience, as well as serving as a special guest judge for our 2025-2026 MDC Company Auditions.
During her visit, dancers had the opportunity to learn from Stephanie’s extensive experience in the ballroom and entertainment industry. Through her master class, she shared valuable techniques, performance tips, and words of encouragement that challenged dancers to grow both artistically and personally.
As a guest judge for our 2025–2026 Company Auditions, Stephanie provided thoughtful feedback and insight, helping dancers showcase their strengths while inspiring them to continue striving for excellence. Her positive energy, expertise, and genuine support created an encouraging environment that made the audition experience even more meaningful.
We are incredibly grateful for the time, knowledge, and inspiration Stephanie shared with our dancers. Experiences like these help our students grow not only as performers, but also as confident and passionate individuals. Her kindness, encouragement, and dedication to the art of dance left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Thank you, Stephanie, for being a part of the MDC family and for making this experience one our dancers will never forget. We can't wait to welcome you back soon!
MDC MOVIE NIGHT
As part of our commitment to building friendships, creating lasting memories, and strengthening the bond within our studio family, Motion Dance Center launched its Movie Night series in February 2024 in Houston, Texas. These special events quickly became a favorite among our dancers, providing opportunities to connect, laugh, and make memories outside the classroom.
Our Valentine's themed Movie Night was a tremendous success, welcoming more than 60 students for an evening filled with popcorn, pizza, face painting, friendship bracelet making, dance offs, and plenty of exciting surprises. To make the night even more memorable, each attendee received a special gift to take home. Throughout the season, dancers enjoyed screenings of The Princess Diaries, Cinderella, KPop Demon Hunters, Tangled, and the highly anticipated Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. With nearly 70 students in attendance, The Eras Tour Movie Night became one of our most popular and well attended events of the year.
These gatherings were designed not only to foster new friendships and strengthen existing ones among our dancers, but also to provide parents with the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing Friday evening while their children spent time creating unforgettable memories at MDC.
We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and support shown by our dance families throughout this growing tradition. We look forward to bringing even more exciting movie themes, special events, and opportunities for connection to our dancers in the seasons ahead.
TAKING OVER MIAMI
MIAMI VIBE 2026
This season, several of our talented MDC dancers had the exciting opportunity to travel to Miami, Florida, to compete and perform on a national stage at a prestigious ballroom dance competition. Representing Motion Dance Center with professionalism, confidence, and grace, our dancers showcased the results of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their craft.
We are incredibly proud of the way our dancers embraced this unique experience, challenged themselves, and represented our studio community. Competing among talented dancers from across the country, they delivered outstanding performances and achieved excellent results throughout the event. Congratulations to all of our dancers, instructors, and families who made this unforgettable experience possible. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success in the seasons ahead!
