MDC TAKES REVOLUTION 2026 BY STORM!

Hello MDC Family!

Welcome back to our MDC Blog. We are so excited to bring this back and reconnect with all of you!

As we step into the final stretch of our season, we can’t help but reflect on how incredible this year has already been. Our dancers have been putting in the work, showing growth, dedication, and passion every single week and it’s truly paying off. We’ve had an amazing start to competition season, with strong performances and so many moments that have made us proud both on and off the stage.

Motion Dance Center SHINES at Revolution Dance Competition!

What an incredible weekend for Motion Dance Center at Revolution Dance Competition! Our dancers truly showed up and showed out, competing over 30+ routines and representing MDC with confidence, passion, and excellence on stage.

From standout performances to memorable moments, we are so proud of everything our dancers accomplished. We brought home multiple awards, with many of our dances placing first in their respective category, placing in overalls and also claiming a few special awards along the wat including Improv Awards, Photogenic Titles, and even earning the prestigious title of Regional Champions. We also celebrated a special Judge’s Award recognizing one of our talented dancers for their outstanding performance.

This weekend was a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and heart our dancers and staff pour into every routine and it showed in a big way!

Staff Profile Highlights

Skylor Sansing

A Houston native and a familiar face to anyone who walks through the doors of Motion Dance Center, Miss Skylor has been an integral part of MDC for the past three incredible seasons. As our Dance Director, she brings passion, leadership, and a deep commitment to our dancers each and every day. We are proud to announce that Miss Skylor is Motion Dance Center’s staff highlight for this week’s newsletter.

Throughout her time at MDC, Skylor has played a key role in shaping our program, helping dancers grow not only in their technique, but in their confidence, artistry, and love for dance. Her dedication and vision continue to elevate our studio, and we are so proud to have her leading the way.

Miss Skylor has achieved many milestones this season including receiving her first Titanium Award at Hollywood Connections! We appreciate Miss Skylor and all she does for our students each and every day.

!Celebrating Administration Week!

This week, we want to give a very special thank you to Miss Giselle Pina for everything she does for Motion Dance Center behind the scenes each and every day. From scheduling classes and privates to keeping everyone updated and organized, Miss Giselle plays such an important role in keeping MDC running smoothly.

Whether she’s helping at competitions, supporting studio events, organizing props, or making sure dancers, teachers, and families have what they need, she does it all with care, dedication, and a positive attitude. Her hard work often happens behind the scenes, but the impact she has on our studio is seen and felt by everyone.

We are beyond grateful for all the time, effort, and love she pours into MDC.
